Elaine is thrilled to be part of a whole month of live streamed holiday music, a collaboration between Star Events and the Indie Collaborative.

In aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (UK), the concerts take place each weekend starting at 2PM EST / 7PM GMT, and feature a variety of performers across diverse genres ranging from Christian to Rock, Pop, Country and Folk, Classical and Jazz.

Christmas Eve will also bring a special evening of Traditional Christmas Classics, and Elaine leads off the great lineup. Each set is 20 minutes. Sign up, stream, and sing along as you go about your day!

February: Writing Retreat

Elaine is pausing performing for a few weeks to focus on writing music across multiple genres. In the works:

  • A new double canon choral work called 'Out of the Depths' for SATB choir and organ
  • A new set of bilingual service music specifically for use during Lent
  • Three new musical theater songs as studies for a possible new musical theater work
  • A few new singer/songwriter tunes, maybe for the next album!

Elaine and a small film crew are taking advantage of the installation to shoot segments for her next music video! This benefit concert and silent auction is in response to the catastrophic flooding in Louisiana. The event will raise funds for Louisiana shelters that aid displaced companion animals. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged to the Louisiana State Animal Response Team. Elaine appears as part of a terrific line-up of musicians donating their time for this effort. Really Big News: two of Elaine's new gospel-style service music settings will be heard at the 240th annual New York Diocesan Convention! This is one of very few times in the last decade that brand-new music has been included in a Eucharist at the convention, which is attended by about 600 clergy and laity from six counties, representing 66,000 parishioners. This is amazing exposure for a composer. Even better: Elaine will also be the songleader for the service!
